First Impressions:

1. I knew from my warmup that this wasn’t going to be my best race. And, while I knew that thinking that would make it a self-fulfilling prophecy, I definitely had a hard time during this race. It’s also my 2nd shortest race this year (after my New Years 5K in DC). Now that I’ve mostly converted to the marathon distance, I’ve definitely lost leg speed, making these comparably short races that much more challenging.

2. The results are separated into PA and non-PA divisions. In the non-PA division, I placed 2nd in the M25-29 age group. I’m pretty sure I registered as a PA entrant… so that’ll have to be fixed. In the PA division, I’m somewhere around 20th in the Mens Open (i.e. under 40) age group.

3. More to come, with notes on getting to the race, GI issues, and the freaking Bridge climb. Hahah
